For parents

Know how your child is really doing

Edvation gives parents an honest view of a child’s learning — a weekly digest in your own language, visible study streaks, and AI that guides rather than does the work. You hold the consent gates for AI and microphone features, and nothing your child produces trains any model.

What can I see as a parent?

Your own dashboard shows how your child is progressing — study streaks, revision activity and results — plus a weekly digest summarising the week in plain language. You see your children’s data only, protected by role-based access control.

Is the AI safe for my child?

It is built to guide, not to do the work. The tutor cites textbook pages, the practice agent gives hints instead of answers, and the Writing Coach refuses to ghostwrite. You control the consent gates for AI and microphone features, and no student data is ever used to train a model.

Can I use it in my language?

Yes. Parent digests and Career Compass kits are available in 13 Indian languages, so you can follow your child’s learning and talk about their future in the language you speak at home.

    अभिभावक के लिए

Homework help at home without English typing.

    कक्षा की एक असली झलक

Kabir · Class 4 · types slowly, asks fast

Kabir taps the mic and asks in Kannada why the moon changes shape. A lip-synced avatar speaks the answer from his EVS chapter; halfway through he interrupts — "what is a phase?" — and the tutor answers the follow-up without losing the thread.

A patient spoken teacher for a child who thinks faster than he types.

    Meera · Class 7 · a 40-minute bus ride

Meera turns Chapter 5, "Acids, Bases and Salts", into a two-host podcast in Tamil and listens on the way home, replaying the neutralisation segment twice. Her teacher can see the chapter’s play count and knows the audio is landing.

Dead commute time becomes revision time, in the language she thinks in.

    कक्षा की एक असली झलक

Ritu ma’am · Class 3 EVS · Friday singing period

For the "Water" chapter, Ritu generates pop-style lyrics from the chapter text, edits one line, and approves — only then is the actual song composed. Friday’s class sings it; three parents ask for the link by evening.

A melody carries the chapter home — with the teacher approving every word first.

  • Socratic practice: the tutor answers a question WITH a question — "what happens to sea water when the Sun heats it?" — offering three answer chips and an "I'm lost" escape hatch, every step page-cited

    Socratic Practice

    संकेत, कभी उत्तर नहीं।

    अभिभावक के लिए

Practice counts, never the content — effort is visible, answers aren’t leaked.

    कक्षा की एक असली झलक

Rohan · Class 6 · wants the answer, gets better

Rohan asks for the answer to a ratio problem. Socratic Practice won’t give it: hint one nudges ("what are you comparing?"), hint two narrows, hint three scaffolds the method. When he’s still stuck, the system flags him to his teacher — who opens the stuck-flag inbox Monday and sees exactly which step lost him.

Practice that can’t be shortcut — and a teacher who knows precisely where to step in.

Diya · Class 8 · essay: "My Village"

The coach highlights two genuine strengths, anchors three suggestions to exact sentences — and when Diya asks it to "just write the ending", it declines and coaches her instead. A paragraph pasted from elsewhere is flagged to her teacher.

Her essay gets better and stays hers.

The whole chapter on one printed page, every node checkable against the book.

The consent gate is yours — nothing records without your approval.

    कक्षा की एक असली झलक

    Priya · Class 6 · Telugu-medium, reading English aloud

Her phoneme heatmap lights up on /v/–/w/ — a known Telugu–English interference — and the sound gym queues a drill for exactly that pair. Her recordings are scored in the browser; the audio never leaves her device. All of it happened only after her father approved the consent request.

Pronunciation practice that targets her exact interference — with the audio staying on her device.

A career conversation the whole family can actually have — in the language they speak at dinner.

FAQ

Will the AI just do my child’s homework?

No. The design deliberately prevents that: practice gives graduated hints, the Writing Coach only comments on your child’s own draft, and stuck students are flagged to their teacher rather than handed answers.

Is my child’s voice recording stored?

Speaking practice keeps audio in the browser, and every microphone feature sits behind a consent gate you control. Voice is used only when your child chooses to use it.
