Study Mentor: ask your textbook anything
Study Mentor is an AI tutor grounded in the school’s own uploaded textbooks. Every answer carries page citations so a student can check it against the book, questions can be scoped to a single chapter, and it responds in 13 Indian languages — for any board.
Who it’s for: For students who want a tutor that matches their exact syllabus — "AI tutor for CBSE", "upload textbook AI tutor".

How it works
Pick a chapter
The student chooses the textbook and chapter they’re studying; the answer is grounded in that chapter’s content, not the open web.
Ask in any language
Type or paste a question in English, Hindi or one of 13 languages. The mentor retrieves the relevant passages from the book.
Check the citation
Each answer shows the page it came from, so the student verifies against the printed textbook — no black-box claims.
See it in a real classroom
Stuck on Chapter 11, "Force and Pressure", Ananya opens Study Mentor, picks that exact chapter, and asks in Hindi: "दाब और बल में क्या अंतर है?" The answer arrives with a page citation from her own textbook, so she checks it against the printed page — then follows the suggested next question on atmospheric pressure.
Why it matters: A checkable, syllabus-exact answer at 9 pm — no tuition call, no random internet explanation.
Who uses it, and for what
Students: Chapter-scoped doubt-solving in any of 13 languages, checkable against the printed book.
Teachers: Preview how the book answers a topic before class; manage the textbook library.
Admins: Govern the shared corpus and per-language quality gates.
What makes it different
Page-cited answers
Answers name the textbook page they draw from, so claims are checkable — the opposite of a generic chatbot.
Chapter-scoped ask
When a chapter is selected the mentor reads that chapter directly in reading order, making "ask about this chapter" reliable even on dense textbook text.
Thirteen languages
The same grounded answer is available across 13 Indian languages, so a first-language explanation is always one tap away.
Questions schools ask
Does it work with any board?
Yes. Because it reads the school’s own uploaded textbooks rather than a bundled publisher library, it is truthful for CBSE, ICSE/ISC and every State board — whatever book you upload is the source.
Can it just give students the answers to homework?
It explains from the textbook and cites pages. For graded practice, schools use Socratic Practice and the Writing Coach, which are built to guide rather than hand over answers.
