Our imagery policy

Every photograph on this site is illustrative. None shows a real student, a real school or a real colleague, every one says so in its own edge, and none shows a child where a family would not want one shown. This page is the whole policy, dated.

Policy dated 2026-09-13. Applies to www.edvation.ai and every marketing surface we publish.

The credit line printed in the edge of every photograph on this site.

Illustrative · generated · no real student or school

Is anyone in these photographs real?

No. Every person is fully synthetic or professionally model-released. No photograph of a real student from any real school — including the schools that pilot the product and our own demo tenants — is used anywhere on the public site, and no persona on the page carries a real colleague’s name. Our generator refuses a role card that prints a name from the product’s own user directory.

Where do you refuse to show a child at all?

In five areas whose records a family would not want illustrated with a child — Behaviour & Discipline, Wellbeing & Health, Counselling & Careers, Compliance & Governance, and Security & Access Control — and anywhere a custody, exit or identity record is the subject. There, photographs are adults-only, or show hands, objects and rooms only. A sensitive-area image set to “any person” stops the build.

How is every image disclosed?

Every photograph carries a print-style credit in its edge — “Illustrative · generated · no real student or school”, in Hindi on the Hindi site — and the footer of every page links this policy. Content Credentials (C2PA) are kept in the generated files rather than stripped, so anyone can inspect how an image was made.

What sits beside every picture?

Proof. Wherever a photograph stands for a feature, the real screenshot of that screen is one hover or one expand away, and the footer’s line that product examples are illustrative extends to photography. A photograph here is a setting for a claim, never the evidence for it.

Are the product screens real?

Yes. Every screen inside a device frame or a print on this site is a real capture of the product, taken while signed in to our own demo school — whose pupils, staff and records are fictional. Those carry a different credit in their edge, “Product screen · demo school · fictional data”, so a real screen is never labelled as generated and a generated picture is never passed off as the product.

What if you see a problem with an image?

Write to grievance@edvation.ai. If you believe an image shows a real person, resembles a real person, or shows a child in a context this policy rules out, we take it down while we check, and reply within ninety days as our grievance process requires — usually far sooner.
