A school evaluating Edvation against India’s National Education Policy 2020 can check every claim below against the real product — no roadmap items presented as shipped.
Holistic Progress Card (HPC)
Report cards can be generated in the NEP 2020 Holistic Progress Card format — qualitative descriptor blocks per development domain, alongside recorded subject data and attendance — as one of the board-format templates a teacher can choose when generating report cards, next to the CBSE term format. It renders only what has actually been recorded for a student; where no descriptor has been entered, it says so rather than inventing one.
Competency & learning-outcome tracking
Learning outcomes are defined per subject and grade, aligned to lessons and assessments, and tracked for coverage and mastery per class and per student.
5+3+3+4 stage structure
The school’s pupils are bucketed into the NEP 2020 5+3+3+4 stages — Foundational, Preparatory, Middle and Secondary — with the live pupil count per stage and the grade labels that fall in each. A grade level that cannot be mapped into a stage is shown, never silently dropped.
AI tutors and study support
Edvation ships 20 AI teaching agents grounded in a school’s own uploaded textbooks, with page citations on every answer — including a text-based Study Mentor and a spoken Voice Tutor, both aligned with NEP 2020’s emphasis on conceptual understanding and experiential, technology-aided learning over rote memorisation.
Multilingual delivery
The AI agents work across 13 Indian languages — including narrated chapter audio in a student’s own language — in line with NEP 2020’s push for mother-tongue and multilingual education.
What we do not claim
Edvation is not a government-certifying body, and does not issue a formal NEP 2020 compliance certificate. It does not publish NCERT/DIKSHA content, and it does not currently model a vocational-education pathway or a parent- or student-facing HPC narrative view — the stage roll-up above is a school-administrator view today. Where a capability is not yet built, we say so rather than soften the claim.
